Greetings!

The latest What's New on Chastain Central is posted. There are a considerable number of last names that come from the Castanea Tree, and it takes time to incorporate all of them into the website. This update brings a much-needed representation of two groups of names Chesnut-Chesnutt-Chestnut-Chestnutt and Shasteen.  Both have been included in news items for some time, but now they have their places among the Chastain Biographies and Outer Space. Fuller incorporation into Authors, Arts, and Place Names will come later. By the way, there are now over 200 biographies.

You will find new editions of Sportscast and Sportsdesk and all the News is updated. Two New Pages are added: full-length articles on Charles Chesnutt and Zenobia Chastain. Other features are updated or expanded, including a completly re-written entry on Cherokee removal Fort Chastain. There is plenty to see in this month's update!
